No Jugulator? Or am I just not seeing it?

You don't see it because Ripper Owens sings on it and I won't buy it, it's not Priest. Guitars are tuned way to low because he can't sing high notes like Halford

The Doors MONO? Yeah, I miss that one a lot, I think you got both in this image from me, the one on the left is the 1st press stereo

Ben, here's one for you to look for if you dig the Stoners stuff. Rifflord - 26 Mean and Heavy on rtheir own Riff Records label. These dudes are obscure and sound like a modern cross between Sir Lord Baltimore and Blue Cheer

The song titles crack me up but man these guys bring it

"Huge Whiff Heavy Riff" how much more Stoner can you get then that? (Don't be snickering Jason )

"Drone and Riff" this is the stuff you crank on the Interstate in the passing lane with the windows down

"Black Holy Dog" a Stoner nod to Zeppelin

"Solid State Sea Witch" to the point crush

"KT88 For Teeth" WOW

"Children of the Electric Currency" I am getting a referenece to the generation that just sits home and downloads instead of going out and experiencing music in person via live and in your face. This is why bands have such a hardtime getting noticed, they have to give their music away in $.99 downloads

In short, these guys warrant a listen and I think will (as it is in mine) will be a treasured piece of Stoner history in anyone's collection. Has all the plod/drone of Sabbath and the songs are well structured and thought out. These guys are the Gov't Mule of Stoner IMO

I'm gonna spin the black crowes- shake your money maker now. I wish I had southern harmony on vinyl
Southern Harmony is a great album.

Feel the same about Blaze Bayley?
I had to give this some thought...

He was not Bruce Dickenson that was the problem. I liked him with Wolfsbane, too bad that band was a casualty. He is a great singer but it's sort of like how would Zeppelin be without Plant but someone who mimicked well? Halford vs Ripper, no contest. Brian Johnson not in AC/DC???? Who would listen? Who would care? The only band that I see a singer stepping in and being successful is Journey, that guy is GOOD (whatever his name is LOL see what I mean?)

The three Maiden albums he did with Maiden did not sell great, the fans spoke and when Dickenson came back, Maiden immediately took off where they left off when he left

Southern harmony IMO is the crowes best lp by far. They have always been a horrible live band but this year they added jackie Greene on guitar and background vocal and Chris held himself under control a lot. But they had there best live year ever they were smoking. Plus Derek trucks was coming out each night for the encore. I think touring with Derek's band forced them to step up there game because IMO nobody can touch the talent/intelligence of Derek trucks at this point in time.

Thats a tough call for me. Money Maker, and Kicking My Heart Around were both great album IMO. Thats not to say the ones in between weren't. Three Snakes is also a good album. Havent spent much time with Amorica. I also thought quite highly of Warpaint.

Derek Trucks is a beast. Love his slide work.

I seen Chris Robinson , Jackie Greene ,and bob weir do a 3 man acoustic show last year you want to talk about the worst live crap I've ever seen this takes the cake. A close second was megadeth live in 95 god they were horrid live.

Worst bands I have seen live are MXPX and Crazy Town. They both sucked bad. Crazy Town got pelted hard when they played.

Queensryche when they were the opening act for Heaven and Hell. What a joke they have become. Heaven and Hell was great, awesome to see Ronnie one last time before he died. Even they were upstaged by the middle act...

Alice Cooper and WHAT A FVCKING SHOW

When Heaven and Hell came on, they could not get the audience to get into it. Admittingly, Alice Cooper is a tough act to follow anytime. Heaven and Hell did not even do an encore

Corrosion of conformity opened that megadeth show and blew them away!! Pepper sounded great on vocals. Dave didn't even sound like the same person. The bob Chris thing was a train wreck from the word go lol. Never heard space before in a acoustic set but leave it to bob to figure out a way lmfao

I saw COC in 97, they opened for Metallica. They were good but they certainly were not upstaging Metallica back then. Now though... might be a different story, haha.
