Just love this vid.
.... despite it's poor quality, (some sync issues and noise problems here and there, and the fact that it looks like a 5th generation VHS copy), it still has some mesmerising moments.
You really do need to make time to watch it in it's entirety to get the best effect tho'. :)
 
Warning: Fee Waybill's willy at the beginning of Hey Sports Fans (which of course was censored by USA Network on Night Flight). Knowing how Google is cracking down on child porn and then nudity on You Tube it may get taken down a few times.

We've all see free willy before though, as we are all real men. Then some comedy BDSM later and Don't Wanna Wait Anymore...

Real 1979-80 rock and roll video stuff for real humans...hmmmm

Pretty goofy stuff by today's standards...somebody could alter about 5 seconds of it and it's perfectly fine. No worries, mate, it's not even XXX, remember that Midnight Cowboy was the only X rated film to win an Oscar and that was just Hoffman and Redford playing male prostitutes or whatever...

The 70s and 80s...what a time to be a teenager...

I read the posts and im not even sure what they were talking about. I watched some of the video and skipped through the rest. Still dont know what the hell they were talking about...
 
About five seconds of full frontal nudity (Fee Waybill) as his cheerleaders dress him in his sports uniform for the video and one nearly gags on a whiff of his athletic supporter. Like I said it's nothing much but about five seconds of a carefully placed moving censor box solved that in 1984 on Night Flight.

The Tubes were another San Fransisco band, like the Dead Kennedys and Greg Kihn hailed from around there as well as Huey Lewis...San Francisco was a huge source of great bands and music during the 70s and 80s and those guys wrote the rules and made the standards for this new art, after Michael Nesmith practically invented the market for the genre.

They had their big movie moment in XANADU and then like ELO kinda hit their brick wall...only Olivia Newton-John really survived that movie with a somewhat intact career afterward. Gene Kelly is said to have hated Xanadu after all was said and done.

For the Tubes their best song in my opinion is STILL "White Punks On Dope" :occasion8:
