I know there arent many Bose fans, but there are a few members over there that run 1801's. Most of the people that do use them love them. There are a few threads over there concerning the rebuild of these amps.

I personally prefer the atmosphere here.

I think im content with how the system is wired now. The Crown seems to deliver a little more not running 901's. That being said, Ill still need to turn the peak limit off. I have that off on my AP800 as well. Its just a push button on the back of the AP.

Hows the Crown treating U?
Any more updates to what you like about it or dislike?
Ready to send it back or is it a keeper, or are you still on the fence about it?

Im pretty happy with it. I dont think it will be going anywhere. Even when it gets replaced this amp will always be in my arsenal. I currently dont have a back up amp, so when the time comes this will be a nice unit to have on hand, just in case. Its my first piece of Crown gear, and I'm more open at this point to trying out other pieces made by Crown.
