We had a great time this past Friday. ZZ Top at the Joint in Tulsa. We really like this smaller venue. Great band and great concert. The really cool part was getting my album signed in the middle of the concert. I had been holding my album up and Billy said I saw someone holding an album up over here. I held it back up and he said can I see it. So I handed it to Dusty and he gave it to Billy. Billy opened it up and said cool picture, lol, you got a pen. I didn't so he got a sharpie from another person in the audience and they all signed it. Then acting like an auctioneer he starting auctioning the album off, lol. He said just kidding and gave it back. Awesome is all I can say. What nice guys!

Wow, lucky you getting your album signed!
I went to see them when they played here in Ireland during the summer and we had a ball also.
They have great teeth haven't they !

That's as memorable as you can get for a concert. ZZ Top in a small venue is as good as it gets. They are known to play loud at the bigger arenas. How loud did they play? Are your ears still ringing?

Yep pretty loud, but great clarity. I can still feel the bass off Dusty's amps. lol

Loud & clean audio at a concert is perfect. Did you get a chance to see any of the gear they were running prior to the show starting? At a Mark Knopfler concert, held at Queen Elizabeth Theatre a few years back, the band played nothing but older 60's -70's hardware. I didn't know what I was looking at, but several of the guys, standing near the stage with me prior to the concert, rattled off all the details.

Not really Nando. Looked like Marshall amps. We saw The Eagles the week before. History of The Eagles. Our seats weren't nearly as good. It was at the BOK center. It was really good too. They played for three hours and had Bernie with them. I love me some Dire Straits
