I've totally lost the plot....
I thought he should've paddled out to at least make sure it made past the break water. Good exercise. :confused3:
yeh.... but i had to ride a horse down to the stage depot, then catch a stage coach to a train station to catch a train, then, i had to change to a tram, then a bus, and then a bit of a walk, and then had to ask a STRANGER for directions to get to the post office....
.... and all without having breakfast!
then i got lost trying to find my way home, and that took another three days.
i was exhausted.

swim you say?
i'm a muff diver, not a deep sea diver. totally different ball game D.

My bad - you've gotta eat and missing the morning meal is a bad thing. Maybe you should've hooked up with the dudes from the Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Oh wait you would've wound up in Alice Springs. Is there really a spring there?

Those who enter the man cave will get WOPLed
A good friend of mine has handed me his Nad 3150 amplifier to look at as it was dropping out the right channel. Have de-oxited all the pots and selector sliders, so far so good for the last hour. It has dual power supplies and weighs quite a bit. I cannot believe the sound that comes out of this thing, truly amazing! I guess those dual power supplies help a bit. Its all new to me.

I've got a Luxman LV 103, that has an intermittent left ch., 'cept it only happens while the lid's on.
I think I've mentioned this one before.
Take off the lid, and u just can't fault it. Makes trouble shooting a tad difficult.
So I just don't bother with it anymore.

Nice amp the NAD.

Derek: It's good to have the opportunity to check out different integrated amplifiers. I have an old NAD 3020 that's cosmetically challenged, but good nonetheless.

Could be heat related. I just hope when this NAD goes back that it doesn't fault then. He has a turntable sitting on top of it but has since put blocks to raise it for ventilation. I personally don't think ANYTHING should be stored on top of amps that ventilate from the top, I might try to convince him to move the TT. Anyways I have until saturday to enjoy this lovely amp. If I had two of them I could say I'm playing with my "Nads" haha :p

I could enjoy the NAD for longer, but I can only run 1 pair of speakers, don't want to mix 8 and 6 ohms on A + B or is that possible? I don't think it is. But I run 2 Pairs of 6 ohm speakers on A + B on the Pioneer 9500s (I just realised that) hmmmm better play it safe, its not my NAD(s) :toothy10:
