Goes well with beers, yes its a very powerful force. Quite loud at 9 o'clock on the dial, and still clean on the 9500's. A great way to test out the capabilities of the Sony XR Metal tapes too. I plan to purchase the CDs very soon, I have not bought any for a long time, now that's saying something.

This Sony XR Metal Tape in my JVC TD-V661 sure does reproduce those low frequencies nice at +6db, dayam!
