PL700B manual corrections and cabinet instructions

I thought I`d scan a few documents that came with my amp. It appears my unit shipped with a model 700 manual hence the addendum. I can scan that too if anyone is interested.

That appears to be the case. Looks to be an early production model. Unless I`m misinterpreting the serial #, this unit is the 1848 produced in April of 1974

I wonder why the power rating was downgraded from 450@8 730@4 to 400 and 700, new FTC ratings criteria perhaps?

Yes, it had something to do with that, but they would still do 450. Every one I've run accross the bench will do that. The ones with a "Hot" transformer will do close to 475-480.
