I've totally lost the plot....
That's awesome george, I'm sure they would have had some serious power under their belt. Fun fun fun! Were they still using phase linears then?
the first time was here when they came to Oz back in 70 or 71 whenever. No PL's then. All Wem stuff.
the second time was London in 85 or 86 or 87. ????
no PL's then either. all turbosound speakers but i don't remember wot amps we were using.
they would've used PL's only in America. (Clair Bros PA's)

Dave Brubeck Collection - 1980 CBS Cassette pressing, have not heard a single tape dropout yet and it cost me 20 cents from a thrift.

Paul: You can't get a much better album from that time. Richard Wright's "Wet Dream" has to be heard in its entirety without pause to be appreciated. I've done that a few times. I recorded the album for a friend on an old Sony tape pictured in the video:

An Indonesian what?
I wonder how they do THAT? :laughing9:
Its such a great album, reminds me of my younger years and I still love it. So many good tracks and minimal "filler", and Gwen will always be a sweetie (purrrrrrrrr). Fidelity is awesome considering the origin of the cassette, sounds better in the Denon than the Nakamichi.
