I used to see this one in the garage sales and thrifts almost as often as the Carole King Tapestry records but always in trashed condition. They sold a lot of copies of this record. I see that it was certified Gold in the same year (1970) it was released but I think it's one of those records that was played and loved to death, I know that I wore out my CCR records in the 70s.

Yeo, wore out a couple Nazareth--"Hair of the Dog" and Styx--"Equinox"!!

You're from the northwest, ever heard of "Child" a local Seattle band in the 70's??

The Beatles And Tony Sheridan - In The Beginning
(1968, Polydor International GmbH/Karussell gold-serie) German pressing

You have a copy Nando, good stuff, more on the relaxing side.
I"ll take a look through the CD-R collection I have from you. I may have missed listening to them.

Nando.

The name sounds familiar probably from radio spots for local shows - mid 70s hard rock?
edit: here's a bio page that I found...http://pnwbands.com/child.html. One of the picture is from the outdoor mural amphitheater at Seattle Center, under the space needle. I bet I saw one of those shows! Thanks for the walk down memory lane. One of their drummers, Mike Derosier, was also in Heart and we went to the same north end high school in the early 70's.

What a relaxing way to spend an afternoon, Miles. Beautiful weather out my way, too. It's time to pop the car cover off the car and polish it up. I"ll be taking it out this coming weekend.

Nando.
