Tony: It seems to be the current rage in offering colored vinyl for re-releases. Is there already a thread dedicated to colored vinyl? If not, we could start one. I did play Alabama Shakes' album "Boys & Girls." I pick Side 2 for its mellowness. This album came with a 7" B-Sides and a code for a digital download.

Nick: I just sent a jazz mix tape to ianC90 @TH. I have it on a MiniDisc Master, so it wouldn't take much for me to record another cassette from the Master. Most of my LPs are older jazz, and there may be a bit of record surface noise, but I am willing to send you a copy of it. Here's the front of the J-card:

Sure, PM your mailing address, and I'll see about completing it this week. It will be recorded on a Type II tape. Any preference for Dolby NR, or without? The one I recorded for Ian was on a 1988-1989 Maxell UR 90 using Dolby C. It turned out nice.

These are a highly under rated table. I have a carbon mat on mine and run a FR54 with a ZYX Airy III. This table sounds every bit as
good as a Technics SP10 MKII. I picked mine up for peanuts and have used in now for going on 5 years without an glitch. No setup
no maintenance apart from a bit of cleaning and it sounds brilliant every time I use it. The European's know what these are, I have seen
them on German Ebay for as high as 4500 Euro !!!!
Cheers
Graham

Thank, Lee. It gets full time use. I believe, Graham has one of these: a Pioneer PLC-590. I missed out on one last year.

Nando, was that Pioneers TOTL table??
Thanks for the info, Graham. It's a beauty, but as I am finding out, perhaps, not one of Pioneer's TOTL turntables. Lee and Graham: Have you heard of Pioneer's Exclusive line? Take a look at this Pioneer Exclusive P3:
