BD, instead of typing speakerlabfan out all the time i do the abridged version. I don't think he minds, haven't heard him complain anyway. Kinda like BD for you. In the oilfield everyone has a nickname....

It's a nice Return To Forever record. I think that I heard the first RTF record back in high school in the early 70s. really liked it especially on the tracks with Chick Corea's Fender Rhodes keyboards & Flora Purim's vocals weaving in and out - like the Spain track on Light As A Feather. I can't find a youtube live track with RTF + Flora Purim but here's a German TV video of RTF from '74...

BD, muso? I think you're asking if I'm a musician? nope. I wish I had that kind of talent on the other hand I know a few musicians in the Seattle area and I don't think I'd enjoy the life, with the ups and downs in the music business and dealing with selling yourself it seems like a tough way to make a living!

One thing about working in the music industry (or film industry for that matter), is you have to deal with musicians (or actors).
Either can be be a very insecure and highly strung lot and need a lot of tending to. (OK, I'll pro'ly get shot down for that remark.... but it's TRUE!)
Music is generally enjoyed more by listening to it, on your time off, rather than try and make a living out of it, so you're absolutely right "SLF".... ;)
