Right now my biggest need is to get two or three turntables going and sell them locally, not my own personal needs. I likewise have a couple-three receivers to go with them.

I was trying to get some belts one of us had for sale on TH to get some cassette decks etc going and unfortunately was late.

I have a complete Sansui rack cabinet with a headphone jack at the bottom and if I hadn't been sick in July I might have sold it all for Christmas as a full setup.

A local ecumenical organization offered to help me sell stuff and I kinda got behind and never got to that.

So if replacing that needle is not a great option, you can toss something you have on? How hard is it to get the little parts you need etc?

I swept for two MONTHS with only a broom and still haven't located that bugger, I assume it's critical to the mounting of the cartridge but wonder if I could just place another nut beneath both sides instead.

The nearest place for needles is about 28 miles away in Caldwell, Idaho, a place called A-Gem Electronic Supply agemsupply.com and that's no guarantee that they'll have it...it's a pretty nice store though-NOT a Radio Shack but a real electronics parts shop with real electronics pros and not some kid trying to pay for community college.

Steven you lost a shim. You only use them if needed. I may be wrong since I don't use headshells like that. Get your manual out and see.

I don't have a manual? I can mount it without but the fact remains the ROCK is gone. I need a new Stanton 500 needle.

Now I know.
