Guys,

Did we ever (did Lee) test output of a converted 700 at 4 ohms impedance? I went through threads and could not find it, only a before conversion of 696 and 721 watts.

Scott I didn't have the load capacity back then. But with the addition of the ex-PL factory 2,000 watt load bank, I can now. The after on that was 725 but was not clipping yet, I ran outta cojones, and my loads were starting to push the end plugs out. So 725 is not max, my guess would be another 25-30 and that would b e it, BUT____ we shall test it.

Now that your cojone supply has been replenished it will be interesting to see where she clips and if the 15 amp main and 5 amp transistor bank fuses will hold. So nice to have data isn't it?

Especially when some one else is risking there amp to gather that data. But I'd volunteer for this duty anyway.5 amp rail fuses won't even begin to cut it at 1Khz. A single sine wave is a bad ass test man. It's brutal. I don't think 8's will do it either, probably will have to go with 10's. My cojones are bigger than ever.
