I was the 1st I ever saw that built a tapered box for mini monitors. I experimented with wiring. New selfhealing Poly caps were just startin to sell. air inductors were coming out. I was a dealer for Goertz. I made my own speaker cables and ICs. I started using the ribbon wire for internal wiring. I had a closet full of woofers and midranges. It was all by sound. No computer. It may take a month to get what I want. Had a Hafler test rig. Police would come by once in a while. LOL Had the 1st Phillips DVD player. Had a Dolby 5.1 processor Technics all hooked up. There were some very loud tests. LOL They were playing music for 7 day 24 hrs. Had an AC filter from a guy in Fla. One the 1st manufactures. Lot of things were going on speaker wise. Little builders popping up. Getting orders and not even advertising. It isn't building the speaker. It is the component choice. The Morel MDT 33 is or was a wicked little silk dome. Every tweeter that was used. I really liked the sound. Fast but smooth. Very fast. That is when my insanity started to show its ugly head. LOL Yes I biwired every one I designed. Was a very good learning experience
