One of my Flukes has a blown fuse for the current side and I just went and looked at Mouser..... $60 bucks my ass but I don't prefer to run a Cina Fuse from amazon unless somebody here has a source or???

F44 100A 1 KV
and
F11A 1KVA

I need a pair of each so I don't get caught unprepared again. I was measuring both channels and one channel didn't register anything. Checked the meter fuse. BAD! And, of course the meter with the blown fuse was the one I needed because it goes to a lower range (lower than my Fluke 77 III).
My Fluke 77 III won't go that low. It just says 0.00 DC and I can't get it to go lower and will only go as low as 10ma no matter how many times I hit the range button. It wouldn't read the 2.4ma so I went to use the other meter and I ended up having to steal the fuse from the 77.
My Fluke 83 III has a ma setting and uA setting and goes to 00.00ma.

Really strange that the book for the 77 III says it goes to .01ma but I'll be damned if I can figure out how.

I saw in the troubleshooting section that there is a chip that controls the auto-ranging function. Maybe it's fixable. After seeing the price of a new meter, I'll just keep swapping them around. Fluke won't touch it as old as it is. Being that everything else works, it may be easier to troubleshoot and I have the skizmo.

A 100A fuse in the meter ? Are you sure about the marking ? usually for the 10A part it's a 10 or 12A slow blow.
Nope, the 11 A is an 11 amp fuse and the 44 100 A is the current fuse at 440ma max. even the fluke website has these numbers. And they are posted inside the meter, AND i also took the numbers off the fuse.... Same-O same-O

Interesting, I've never seen such markings on fuses before, I've thought that was small 5x20 or 6x32mm glass fuses.
And for more confusion I've seen in a tutorial the 11A fuse with green markings labelled as fast blow, in France the slow blow fuses have green markings and the fast blow fuses have black markings.

I've found NOS genuine fuses for all my Flukes (I now have six, with a additional 8920A now on the way to me) on eBay.
Yeah, some of the larger ceramics are expensive, but I can usually find a good deal for a quantity of 5 or more.
Can't remember paying more than $5 each for the odd ball larger ceramics.
I often search using the Fluke part# from the service manual and get results different from a more generic search.
I'm wary about getting fakes, so I closely check out the photos, sellers location, and the other items the seller has for sale. Haven't been burned yet.
