Audible Illusions and Counterpoint

Got a line on an Audible Illusions linestage and a Counterpoint NPS-100 and contemplating purchasing once I get a couple more truck items out of the way and campground reservations made. Anyone have any experience with Audible Illusions (can't bring myself to use "AI" anymore)? Supposed to sounds pretty good. The NPS-100 does sound good; I've heard it.

Wondering if it would be worth it to just take both to Scott's shop and get him to recap them first. I know I'll listen for a while and see if anything is noisy before retubing.

The NPS ("Natural Progression") is a great amp. I wouldn't mind a pair- they might even replace the SA-220's.

No background on the AI preamp, other than I've heard of it/them.
