Marantz 105 Lamp replacement

I picked up a Marantz 105 tuner recently. It needs all new lamps. What's the best way to access them? Remove the front panel? Go inside?

I have had many Marantz recievers and tuners over the years but just not the 105, all of them I had apart have a light / socket board that runs the length of the tuner dial that is accessible from inside. You will need to carfully sneak it out past the tuner string. No need to take the face plate off, unless the vellum paper has yellowed from years of hot incondessent bulbs.
The burnt vellum paper will give you that crappy green tint to the light not the pretty blue that is classic Marantz.
Be very careful around the plastic bulb housings as they will be very brittle!
Going with the fuse style leds I assume?
If so, stay away from the blue ones..
In my opinion they are overboard blue..
I found the cool white make the nicest resulting Marantz look......

I have a MARANTZ 2130 I bought new in the 70’s. Just turned it on for the first time in years. Everything worked before but guessing that was 20 years ago. Going to follow your advice. The oscilloscope is not lighting up either, any recommendations on that? @Mohawk

I ended up using warm white LEDs and they came out pretty good. The lights for AM FM indicators are the same as the bipins Used in the phase linear light boards. I had the bulbs I needed except for the dial indicator. Used a LED, a 1N4004 diode and 470 ohm resistor. It fit perfect and did a good job. After thought was, I could’ve used a blue LED which may have looked better. Got it done, it works, on to the next project.

It looks like there is a "calibration" spot on the scope at the top of the scope ?
