Used 1/2" long DCP standoffs with success on the 400 S1 upgrades. On the full WOPL 400 S2, the relay was at interference with the Cylon meter mode switch. So some modification was in order. Note I'm using the original chassis. The new WOAD chassis are said to be deeper and this shouldn't be a issue.
First the speaker jack stud needed shortening. Then the standoff needed shortening. I did all cutting with a Dremel cutting disc. I chucked the cut standoffs in the drill press and spun them against a fine cut file to get perfect equal length. Then used some fine grit sandpaper to finish the cut end. A hand drill would work as well.
The edge of the DCP board is now even with the top of the film caps, and I have a small gap between to the relay and mode switch.

Yes you have 1-3/8" extra depth to work with using the upgrade chassis.

I hear you Don. I ordered my DCPs a good while back before the standoffs were included. Did some searching and found one of your old posts where you said 1/2" would be just about right. So ordered 10 1/2" to do a 400 S1 and a S2.
The S1 was easy with lots of room. Ran into the issue with the 400 S2 with the WOAD Cylon meters. I believe I would have no issue with the original meters. It's the mode switch that contacts the relay cover.
It wasn't a big deal with me as it was a easy fix. Just thought I'd document it. Probably not many people out there running those meters in a 400.
The part # is shown in the photo with the calipers, and the final working length I used is shown captured in those calipers.
As a side note, I used the same WOAD Cylon meters in the 700 Pro build along with your DCP and included standoffs. No issues there. But then the speaker jacks are in a different location on the 700.
Thanks Don!

I ground the top of my DCP relay clear cover with my Dremel, just a smidge. A smidge is just over 1/16" but less than 3/32", closer to 2.5mm.
Didn't quite break through the clear cover.

Mark, maybe the speaker jack bodies I got with the DCP are longer, as no way that would work in my case if the now provided standoffs are 5/8" long. Anyhow, I like how we "handcraft" these to our liking. I enjoy looking at all the variations and ideas the builders use.
