Get more bang for your buck, [and performance] by looking at what's 'new' out there these days.

I agree. Been checking out the local Craigslist and prices are more realistic.
One question. Does the low pass filter normally go down to 0 Hz on these? Reason I ask is I'm running a pair of subs with no crossovers built into them, in stereo "mode" with the 700 WOPL. Would like to set the low pass for the subs at 10-60 Hz or perhaps lower. Even after reading all the Ashly literature I 'm not sure.
These old Pro Audio analog active crossovers are new to me so I need to understand them before I start looking hard at, let's say, a new Behringer Super X.

You could use a stereo 3 way x-over, and just use the middle bands as a bandpass filter, but I think you'd be hardpressed to find something that would go lower than 20Hz in that setup.
Anyway, the variable x-over point is actually your low pass filter.

The MiniDsp really looks best for my system from what I've read over the last several days. Sure would rather have a rebuilt vintage active crossover though. Going to continue to research this and learn. Thanks.

Yeah man, Marchand and is a big name I've come across the last couple days. Also, Nelson Pass has a nice kit on DIYAudio.
I'll check out that first link this evening as I'm working.
Also been looking at the Rolls SX45 and SX95, they appear to be made in Utah. Thanks! I love the info!
