Derek92994's 700 Ser II White Oak conversion

They are in parallel so if one is shorted they will all appear shorted...are they the 96's or 95's?

The only way to isolate them is to resolve them or solder one end of the emitter resistor..

Ok I shall get to work, need to do a quick house chore first. Once isolated, do I do the standard 6 way tests on outputs as if they were out of the backplane?

Yes...be careful and be quick on the solder suck. Most of the solder is on the backside..

Nope, check that Darc, they'll still be paralleled through the collectors and bases...gonna have to drop em..

Maybe its safer to remove the outputs, I dont have any spare resistors if I fry one

Ok I will remove the outputs, does the very bottom one have to be removed also?

Battery powered solder station works a treat, up to 3 hours run time on a 18v 5amp battery. Heats up quick.
