To anyone who has had to mess with faceplate nuts on a pristine faceplate knows the frustration that can happen when getting a wrench on those nuts. What Joe has done with his new plates is machine a recess for the pots and switches, allowing the use of a socket without scratching the main plate area...what a blessing...thanks Joe..
It also makes up for the fact that with the full 3/16" thick faceplate in the area of the 2 volume pots, there is perhaps a half thread of nut engagement on the threaded section of the pot. This solves that problem as you can see in Lee's photo. Now you have threads protruding beyond the 3/8" nut.Yes indeed!~!
Are those handles Perry made up. The one I got from him last time are not coated or anodized. I think I will paint them or powder coat metalic silver. The ones here in the photo were from Perry’s first run. They are silver with clear coat I thinkLove the silver bezels, silver rack handles with the black face...
