I'm thinking it's time to start on my 3300II preamp. I haven't kept up with the audio grade electrolytics. What seems to work at a reasonable cost? Looks like I'll need 2.2uf, 4.7uf, and 22 uf. What are the good film types ? I've got a few hundred polystyrenes. Are they still thee choice for pf's?

Thanks for the link. I kinda suspected WIMAs. The link answered all the questions. Any comments about coupling caps beyond the range of WIMA. What's all of the noise about silk dielectric?
Used the WIMAs in a B&K ST 202+ in the shop and it sounds great. I will use them again in my B&K EX-442 when I restore it as well. They were right priced.
