I'm cleaning the pool right now, while it's running, I'm setting up my stereo system in the back bedroom (it opens up to the backyard so I can jam while i'm floating).

Yeah, was going to do that but my damn pump died. Well, it lasted a good 10 years so not complaining too much. Was going to get a new filter anyway with it sucking air all over the place, sooo.. as long as the green meanies (algae) stay away til Weds...

Going to take a dip in a few, then dose it with shock to attempt to keep it half clean for the next few days...

I blew a hose last week, had to get a new one. It's ready. and the water is tested...

3- 4" lengths of 1/2" copper pipe thrown in each skimmer with 3" chlorine tabs will keep your pool algae free...

LOL it would, but alas.. no skimmer on this pool (being a 18 foot round, walmart special.. ). Plus I almost guarantee my wife will come after me when her hair turns green. We had a saltwater chlorinator with the copper anodes - worked great, but alas.. :toothy3:

Ours is saltwater too..... No green hair yet but chlorinator only runs 3 hours a day for this pool size. 12' x 24'.
