Thank you guys for the birthday wishes, its very kind of you.

Yes, I did hit the big SEVEN-O. I'm still pondering when to retire. I've been in the same business for 50 years and I can't remember one day that I disliked going to work. Every day presented me with a new challenge and it was rewarding being able to work through them.

Again, thank you guys. :salute:

Keep those reels spinning...............

Happy Birthday, and thank you again for the Twinimage NAB Maxell reel you gave me a couple years ago, just like the ones in your avatar. I hope you have quite a few more!

Happy 70th Birthday, Ron. Man, if you have been having a good time working in the same career all this time, I would say go for the full-pull. Some of the younger guys, who would like to displace you at your job, might not think that. What else have you been doing to occupy your leisure-time, lately?

Nando, Stuwee & Steven,

Thank you for the birthday greetings. Its nice to hear from you guys.

Nando, I've been in the construction industry all my life. My dad was a contractor and started going to the job sites when I was probably six yrs., old. My formal education was in architectural engineering. After college I went to work for a large construction firm. I didn't want to sit around in some office drawing plans all day. I wanted to go where the action was.

Hopefully, some of the young guys that have worked for me and have moved on were able to learn and prospered. Today, I have a small crew and work for some investors who own many rental proprieties, commercial and residential and I don't see any signs of them slowing down. I oversee all the remodeling, plus, I do all the design work for them and deal with all the subs. So life is good.

Thanks again for the B'day wishes. Ron
