Power Supply??

Thank Jer, It did wake up from sleep mode this AM with just a tap on a key like it should. I'll run that test Jer...

Well lots of times in an aborted boot Windows ends up screwing up the startup configuration files. You could use F8 key to boot up to last known good configuration, but if you got it to boot up and it is working keep your fingers crossed. ;-)

Get into setup and turn off quick boot then, you're gonna have to keep banging it rapidly.

No, there's no Navo line there.

I see no quick boot option...

It should be under MAIN...I have about the same BIOS as you do, I have to restart to find that...which is okay because I need to shut down and let Alison and Valerie back online while I reinstall Alison's Windows after that hard drive replacement (again).

What model are you using again? We need to get you to the manufacturer's site and find you the manual.

Besides that, my AMI Bios is either on Alison (Pavilion i7-1111) or Emily (Dell Dimension E310) And It took a few minutes to get Valerie back up after she wanted to install the keyboard and mouse again and AVG started scanning.

I've yet to connect Alison and find the disc to reload. I don't have eight arms and no shirt like Shiva, you know.

Updates stack up and then get rolled into 'Cumulative Updates' from Micro(aggressive)soft. Give it a night ... at least. Some of the update packages can be biggens', even for Win 7.
