A little, output power is pretty much determined by rail voltage....new power caps will certainly help the bass section...
I wish I had an answer for you Ray but I am no tech. I am sure Joe, Lee or someone will be along to get you pointed in the right direction
Soon Roccus will be roccin' with no worries
Well all the amp has been running flawlessly for 4 or 5 days now... Don's protection board got here today and I installed it he sent it fully built but I read the zobal net had to be removed from it so I removed R1, R2, C8, and C9 then connected the wires as follows... J1-1 left channel output, J1-3 left ground, J2-1 right channel output, J2- 3 right channel ground, J3-1 DC input I ran this from fused B+ out from the right plane board, J3-2 ground, J3-3 AC input I ran this from the rectifier over at the transformer, all grounds run off the bus bar at the power caps....
On my speaker outputs I am getting .0049 on the right side and .0049 on the left side but no output (sound) out of speakers when connected to preamp and tuner
I have read that when power is turned on that people here the relay click in I have not heard the relay kick in...
Edit... I have 84v DC at J3-1 and 84v AC at J3-3 is there a way to jump the relay??? I'm thinking the problem has something to do with the relay not kicking in for some reason.
Another edit... looks like if I put a jumper wire from pin 1 to 3 and pin 2 to 4 it would jump the relay?? Not seeing any voltage on the relay socket for pins 7 and 8... am I supposed to have jumpers in the components I removed for the zobal R1, R2, C8, C9??
Strange though that you have 84VAC and 84VDC on those 2 pins. Below is what you should have on the 400 board.
J1-1 0VDC +/- 50mv
J1-2 No connection
J1-3 0VDC, 0 ohms
J2-1 0VDC +/- 50mv
J2-2 No connection
J2-3 0VDC, 0 ohms
J3-1 70-80 VDC
J3-2 0VDC, 0 ohms
J3-3 55-60 VAC
All my readings are close to your specs except J3-3 hmm As far as the 84v AC that voltage is what this build turned out to be Joe and Lee seemed to think that is ok but J3-3 20v off that seems a bit much that is coming off the rectifier if that voltage is that far off wouldn't that effect other AC voltages in the backplanes and control board?? I posted all my readings and was told everything is "spot on"
All seemed to run well without the protection board the amp sounded great I had tacked the speaker output wires to the old terminals and ran it like that 24 hours a day for 4 or 5 days before I got Don's board but there is no power going into the breaker for some reason why I am wondering if there are supposed to be jumpers or something in the slots I tool the resistors and caps out from
I got docs on how to wire and install the board but no docs on how it was to be built so I got my info on removing those components off of nelson build thread

If it's 84 DC , yes that would be the problem....
And, if you are not familiar with the Rectifiers, way easy to hook up wrong. They are not marked for ease of use unless you have seen a few.
I bet that is what I did and if I understand it right the relay is doing it's job by staying open if it's getting DC voltage right?? Thanks Lee and Dennis
