[HPM 200]

If anyone has any drivers for hpm 200's that are working or not I would like
to purchase them. I am not worried about bad voice coils or cones ect. just good frames and magnets,Thanks Mike.

I saved searches on eBay for all of those drivers, but woe is me if I didn't get four hits for Kohler starter motors, 12V and X HP for HP-12

Instead of an empty search, eBay will throw anything​ at you. Irritating...

I tried this, by narrowing my search to pioneer HPM woofer in the Vintage Electronics category only. This returned only 16 items for my search. If you search the whole site, you'll get lots of crap to go with those woofers. Searches are generally looking at the TITLE of the listing, that the seller enters. So we're dependent upon the seller knowing what he has and entering the model correctly.

Keep in mind that eBay searches will follow standard Boolean logic. For instance, you can specifically search for "25-723F". Those quotation marks will limit your search to ONLY those characters in that order within the quotation marks. When I tried this search I got zero results. Once you get what you like, save that search and all the others and have the eBay system send you emails when listings are posted that meet your search criteria.

1. For this example, type Pioneer HPM woofer into the search box at the top of most any eBay page and click on SEARCH (or hit the Enter key). When I do this I get 34 listings. Look on the left and you'll see a list of Categories where these 34 listings are scattered. You can click on one of these (drill down) or just leave it like it is. Let's leave it.
2. Just above the first listing in GREEN TYPE are the words [+] Follow this search, click on those words. When you click on this, you'll get a pop-up box that tells you that you are now FOLLOWING THIS SEARCH and that you will receive email alerts for new listings.
3. For this next step you need to be logged into your eBay account, so make sure you're logged in.
   At the top of any eBay page toward the right are the words My eBay, just roll your cursor over this (DON'T CLICK!) and you'll be presented with a list of options. Followed Searches is second from the bottom. Roll down and click on that to see all your Saved (followed) searches.
4. You can click on these searches any time to look thru what's there. You can also delete searches, edit whether you receive email alerts, etc.

Oh, I did that and it works but HPM-200 anything is as scarce as Miley Cyrus' common sense.

Mike: I tried Oak Tree Enterprises, and nothing is listed for the Pioneer HPM-200 speakers. It will be tough to find the drivers. Are you just looking for spares?

Got Drivers

2nd attempt at posting here. First one disappeared. I just picked up a set of rough shape HPM-200 that are going to be difficult to restore cosmetically. I came across this site and your post while researching repair tips. I'm considering parting them out. I registered here just to reply to your search for parts. I have:

1) 2 supertweeter/tweeter combo cylinders. Both supertweets work fine. Both tweeters do not. I think its the loose/corroded contact issue and hope to fix them myselef after reading up on this.
2) 2 dome mids. one works and the other does not. It got poked and both lead wires on the front of the dome were broke. going to need a delicate fix. Also has small hole in dome
3) all 4 correct woofers. These all work but need new foam surrounds (easy and available fix)
4) both crossovers
5) all grill cloth panels if desired. Maybe you'd want to have a swappable set with a different color fabric. Original fabric is in rough shape but frames are fine.

I'm really torn between committing to restore these rare/awesome speakers myself or just taking the easy way out and selling the guts. I may be interested in amp/speaker trades. Let me know if you are still looking for drivers.

Well, I'm a modest collector of vintage stereo gear. I keep two systems up and running and am always watching craigslist for new gear to try out. I'll pick things up and compare them to what I already have. If I keep something new then something else gets sold. Over the last few years I have fixed a few turntables, refoamed,recapped and refinished about 6 pairs of speakers and completely restored a Sansui QRX 8001. My keepers so far are

System 1
Sansui QRX 8001 and/or Pioneer SX-850
quad of New large advents (2 of which are econowave conversions with renkus heinz compression tweeter)
Pioneer PL 530 turntable
Pioneer CTF9191 tape deck
DBX 3BX dynamic expander

System 2
Carver MX130 reciever
Denon DP-37F turntable with 301 MC cart
Polk SDA CRS monitors

I have tried to fix an Onkyo M504 amp. Its a dual monoblock that keeps blowing the outputs and some smaller transistors on one channel. This one has me stumped and its been put on the back burner. I lack the some of the tools to fully dive into it (like an oscilloscope) Now these speakers will compete for my time if I restore them. Also fixed/sold a few turntables that didn't make the cut. Restored/sold a set of JBL L100t's recently as well.

As you can see, if I restore these HPM-200's, I can put together one hell of an all-pioneer system.

Welcome aboard. And I have been looking for a set of HPM-200 speakers for a long time. And, I agree with Lee - the Pioneer Spec 2 amp is well-suited to those speakers. Check this thread out, if you haven't already:
