I had an amazing day off listening to every Lp I could, magical my friends!!

Stand outs were; early house/garage 45rpm bought in NYC in the 1980's...Ballz to the wall of sound in Loganland at Casa de la stu :happy3::blob8::happy3:

Just increadiable at high volume, the vocals shift and the keyboard and drums stay in place, featured vocalist comes from the back wall to several feet in front of the speaks....very cool production trick!

Yes, Dusty records are special. That voice stops me in my tracks ,:love9: especially when she starts singing flawless French at about 1:20 in this youtube clip:

Johnny seemed to like covering stones tunes. I really like his version of Silvertrain, and Let It Bleed, from Still Alive And Well.
 
The Craigster sent some CD's home with us to Rip to the library. The ears have healed up from Stephens and Craig's music marathons so we are putting a test listen to -----

Simply Red----- "Farewell" a live concert recording at the Sydney opera house...
Blondie---------" Greatest Hits"
Propaganda---" 1,2,3,4".....
 
There are better Alan Parsons, Blondie is ...well Blondie......Simply Red is a very good live recording....
 
Walter Brennan - Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1963). My second Walter Brannan LP - first one was $6.00 this one, $0.50.

Vinyl not cleaned yet and despite how it looks, it's noise free except 3 clicks on 1 track of side one.
