That leaves me out, even if the contents are very interesting if they weren't erased first. Every one of my dimes paid bills and rent etc and what I have today is solely to send the Christmas mailings.

Would leave me with even more of a storage problem and every time I go back to that Kingdom.com place Nick pointed out they are still waiting for more of the 100 cassette wall shelves I really need.

But yeah, wish you would reconsider.

Thanks.

PS if most of the J-cards have wiring on them, is it good enough to use in a WOPL?

I haven't erased them, but I haven't checked to see what is on them either. Some of the j cards just have a title on the spine and others have a play list on them. Who knows the tapes may be here for quite a while, just trying to do some house cleaning and get rid of excess tapes I will never use.

I would like to rip them to those huge capacity storage drives along with about 70 or more others I have stored that are similar and I got from other people.

And now that the bag is not enclosing the cat, I need to get everybody's stuff out of here and on the USPS sleigh.

I've done a fair amount of recording in the past on those Memorex tapes. They look like something sold at Family Dollar, but perform rather well, and the signal does not go bad over time. Sadly, I have more tapes than I will ever use...

It's the CONTENT, not just the tapes, that's what works for me.

Well, I'm not totally out of luck...I got this from Dogface1956 today...

Yes, that's 3x BASF Chrome Extra II, Later TDK SA 90 in 'eco' packaging, Bush SF (Type I), 2X Man In Chair Maxell XLII 90, JVC AFII-90 and a Sony FX 90 (Type I), plus my second of those early Memorex Not For Sale 7" sample reels.

AND Manassas by Stephen Stills plus a GRT eight track (for Dunhill/ABC Records) of It Ain't Easy by Three Dog Night.

More NOS cassette tapes coming from Mike Shotwell (three to be exact) so I can't complain (1984 TDK SA, 1977 Maxell UDXL I and 70s TDK AD).

And tomorrow is payday so I can BOGO a Hickory Farms summer sausage, get some crackers and add my cheese for a sleazy, happy dinner before I grocery shop.
