Dobie Gray - Drift Away
(1973, Decca) Mastered by Bernie Grundman, A&M recording studios

The title track was unavoidable/played to death in the 70s on AM radio. Nice to hear in full fidelity thundering low frequency along with other great tracks. w/ Nashville regulars including David Briggs, Kenny Malone, Reggie Young.

Lindisfarne - Sleepless Nights
(1983, Shanachie) Canadian pressing

As usual Alan Hull has interesting songs and things to say - Cruising To Disaster is more political than most. Cheeky back-cover

When that album came out, I bought it because of the back cover.

Fondler errrr... fan of all Nav's avatars
Old pic but it's playing now. Original 1st press with the original different cover that is a topload gatefold, not a sideloader

Folks are more familiar with the 2nd design that is a sideloader gatefold like this, a very different cover
