Pioneer CTF1000, Can I post a need for a part here?

I have one dead meter on my Pioneer CTF1000. Can I post that I am looking to buy one here?

Alternatively the section you are currently using would also be fine. Lol.

For the record I merged the two Meter threads. :toothy5:

Orange might have one of these meters, if not I am sure someone here has one.

Mine works and that's the only place to go...we've already discussed that. If I see I will holler.

Could try Ander's Meters in the UK. I had a recorder with a dead meter and they had one with a lens almost exactly the same size as my bezel opening. Needed two so they matched and modifying the deck's insides took some doing but they work and look like they were installed at the factory.

I have a non working deck, but not sure I am ready to part it out. The complete decks sell for quite a bit on ebay working or not.

Buy a cheap ohm meter and measure the meter's resistance before you go nuts searching.
Good point. Might also help to disconnect the leads from the dead one and connect it to the leads going to the live one. Maybe the meter's OK but not getting signal.

She told me a tech has already gone over it and it is quite parrot like.

So, Is no more, ceased to be, bereft of life it rests in peace,
rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible has it?
In that case all that needs to be done is to nail it to the perch.

Man, really surprised Steven did not have a parts unit or know somebody on Tapehead's that has one. I sent her here looking since AK is a bust
