Yes its a nice album, I agree on the sound quality, my copy is on the Epic Label though, don't know what the difference is apart from the Australian pressing.

Strawberry Alarm Clock - Incense & Peppermints

I picked up this record at the same time as the Syndicate Of Sound LP, both in terrific shape. a first listen to this title - I always assumed bubblegum based on the title track and the cover art but I think these guys were more influenced by Love than the Archies. Nice. Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow includes bongos and a harpsichord.

Couldnt tell you if it was the "first" digitally mastered LP but it is digitally mastered. Picked up at Half Price Books - usually don't pay over a buck for most albums but I had a coupon for 50% off - $3.50!

I liked him since James Gang after Joe Walsh left.
Then when he released his first album, Savannah Woman just sold me.
To watch him play it and sing it for me was one of the momentous moments of my life. To this day, I can remember every second of it.
When he walked through the door, the magic was all around him like a giant aura. Awesome chap. He was very special....
