Cool new game and a chance to crank your shit if you'd like for 8 to 10 second video clips. Rules are simple, name the song/artist correctly and you get to post the next

You get extra board cred points for flattening needles or LED meters in the spirit of the WOPL Warriors of Sonic Destruction who use their shit the way it was made to be used and that is CRANKED. I don't want to hear about neighbors, significant others or dogs with anxiety issues. 8-10 seconds folks, open 'em up and NAME THAT TUNE

Lastly, please don't make it impossible to guess, stick to popular artists of whatever genre you post. Most people could not name much Classical/Symphony music or a lot of country so stick to rock, modern rock, post punk, blues, jazz, metal...

Genre: Heavy Modern Rock

Hint: Guitar tone/style should give it away

Ron: I don't know which band it is, but I can only imagine how loud that clip was in real-time. You are THE MAN!

I know that song, but ill let it got a while to see if anyone else gets it.

Unfortunately for me, its not quite that easy to get my meters pegged like that. If mine are hitting halfway thats extremely effin loud.

Better to move the game right along Ben and any submission will work, don't sweat burying your meters. That was just a typical Ron thing and right now I am trying to leep my mind off other things by raising a little hell here

I was thinking my submission would be semi easy since the artist played in a couple bands that crossed genres but again, it's best to move the game along and give everyone a chance to post cool stuff

Is this the speciality of a WOPL?

Naamloos.jpg

It's cranked up like crazy, and causes probably the crappy soundquality of the video.

Perhaps there are more hints needed to decode this distortion.

Video sounds fine on my end. The song chosen is filled with heavy guitars and deep bass notes. I have made far shittier sounding video's at way lower volumes. Every camera is different. I would not suggest that a wopl sounds anything like any video posted. It will only sound as good as the camera's reproduction.

That said, the song is All For You - Black Label Society.
