I also want to wish our members a healthy and safe holiday season. I am really looking forward to another entertaining year on this forum, amongst friends. Although I've only met a few of you in person, I feel I have met you all through this forum. We have a very good core group of fine people who steer this ship and the members who have been comfortable here will probably become lifers... well, at least for as long as N. Korea decides to get even and take out the N. American grid.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2015 and our best wishes for Larry's family to heal their hearts after losing such a good man.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year guys. Will never forget this year, as its the year I got my WOPL, pure excitement! Earlier this year I was at rock bottom mentally and financially, but managed to dig my way out of it and get a job. Even though I have now lost my job due to a very unfair situation, I feel pretty darn good. 2014 was full of ups and downs for me, If it wasn't for certain members on this forum providing support, it would have been a lot harder if not impossible to rise up and start functioning normal again. Lee, Joe, George, Nando, and all the members on here, Thanks so much guys and lets make 2015 a brilliant year.

Yes, connecting with Lee, Jerry, Nando and Joe through this fourm then getting to meet Nando, Douglas and Lyle in the flesh were standouts for me this year. I too went through employment disappointments with depression and near complete financial depletion but the selflessness and generosity I found here on Phoenix was totally unexpected and truly amazing.

It was a spotlight (or something) onto what the human spirit is supposed to be that I sure wasn't seeing anywhere else. It helped me spend less time in the well of self pity I too easily fell into and visiting this site became highlights of my day.

All of you know how to live, I mean really live as in what life's all about. As far as I'm concerned the only thing of any real value one person can give to another is of themselves. I wish blessing on all of you for being bright lights in a dark year.

Blows me away it was because of wanting to fix an old amplifier.

Exactly the same for me, the best part of my day is visiting phoenix. I stay in my safety zone here the majority of the time as I don't like the ugly shit happening on the outside world (and people's attitudes out there, shocking, no morals). The only reason I may venture out is to visit friends and family or to go to work.

Most so called amazing things aren't amazing at all really, they're banal. The value of that word has been diluted so much that it means nothing any more. And that's a pity because Phoenix and its denizens are amazing!!
