It's the 50th anniversary of Rankin-Bass' Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer too.

Looks like I cinched that puppy up too tight for the ride *the card...sorry about that, Sep!

Okay! let's check the master list and get word from anyone who hasn't received theirs yet!

We already know I never got mailing info from Fairchild, Styx and Rex...and I DON'T have a single shred of data saved on my computers or ~800 GB of external drive storage as to those address, been at this for a few weeks, not there.

First of all, Web-did you finally get your package (12-02)?

To be honest, I've been pretty much broke since last week, I spent my last 4 dollars on a small can of dust off to work on a small Pioneer to replace my niece's broken receiver I gave her (and if her mom and dad would realize I swim in stuff and not to toss the speakers etc too, I would have remedied that some time ago :sign6:)...

I found one slimline to use, can round up two others as the regular ones make the envelopes too thick for the non-machinable rate and they cost $2.53 vs. $1.12 domestic, $1.87 Canada and $3.33 foreign (air mail, more or less).

Your Rebel Elf has cranked out over 120 of these for PACF and friends and the allowance ran out by the 1st. I made the deadlines for getting them out to the rest of the world, and I'm getting to the edges of getting the last US ones out in time for the holidays.

I've never gotten everyone on the list all done in the three years I've done this, I feel like Santa will send me to a minor league club eventually :happy3:

Let's get this up to 1.000!

If you are listed and haven't seen yours, please let me know...I can get Derek,
or possibly Daren or somebody in Europe, or a North American member
to copy for me probably if time is really tight...

Enjoy your CD, and let's all hope for less Michael Bolton
and more Coltrane and Slayer in 2015!

(And ABBA
, and Kylie)

THREE?

REALLY?

Wow. Insomnia!

Holy Cow. Have we missed any of you in the Isles and Europe?

Pat, it's quicker to have FF or rtp_burnsville copy one and you'd have to send it expedited almost for it to get here in time.

Haven't got mine yet. My blunder. I have just addressed an old PM where you asked for the addy and I failed to post it. Taken care of now. It may not arrive before the holiday BUT I'm playing last year's in the OPPO right now while decorating the tree; and it serves me just fine. :thumbleft:

I received a copy of the Christmas CD yesterday from Central Ireland. Pat Graciously forwarded me one of his copies and he included a CD filled with some Rory Gallagher music on it. I haven't yet listened all the way thruogh either CD, I plan to take them to work this week and listen to them at my work area.

I inquired at the Post Office and they loooked at me like I was crazy and said they have no damaged mail for me so my copy from the River Shanon area is a blessing and my Christmas gift. The postal spindling and mutilating machines must have gotten a hold of the one Steven sent.

Thanks Pat.

I had to bandage at least one old slimline case IIRC.

They can look at you crazy like but some of those guys can't Decipher a ZIP Code and send stuff for to CANADA...even though there are SEVEN place names in the US with my town's name, including a lake.

Something funky in their latkes.

By the way, those things have to be sent non-machinable in the US for the size etc. If you ever have to send a slimline case I would suggest a thin piece of cardboard for the front side but either one is vulnerable...to send them in normal jewel cases would cost more than twice as much as they won't fit the template slot they use.

This is why no cassettes were sent, except for the two TDK SA-X Ben bought from me to give Ron. I made the best use of all I was given for this project.

PS I had bought a Hickory Farms gift pack for SOMEBODY and forgot about it until I moved the box to hook some speakers up...they are mailable...so I made a plate of the crackers and a few Triscuits from the package with the hot mustard, beef stick and fancy cheddar lightly heated and shared some with my friend and his mother while I showed him the RT-909...told her don't laugh too hard at what I'm about to play before I started Mrs. Robinson

He brought a couple 2 liters of Diet Coke and told me I didn't owe him $10 after I gave them the card and CD and even made a cassette for their car as it was cassette only. I might get some of those APPLES I've been hoping for too (apples aren't too bad for diabetics and my favorite are Granny Smiths, even if my Grandma Smith never made a dime off them) :laughing8:
