It's not so flat, she just doesn't stick it out at everything like that Papermag tiger.
 
If we're all done opening our presents, it's time to clean up the mess on the floor so we can close the thread and have dinner.
 
And YES, I see Navo has already been hogging the Minute Maid(ens).

Doug, got the Burnt Suite test pressing master back today with the copy you made me, thank you. I hope you enjoyed it. Can't wait to hear the copy you made me since I effed the master up so bad on one side with the long black spot and no separate tracks

No worries, Ron. I only removed the dead space and did not put in track marks. Easy enough to do as I kept a copy on my NAS and can either whip you up another CD copy with track marks or you could download it from my server.

I found the test pressing w/ blank labels at the flea market for $1, it was in a plain jacket and only had Burned Sweet on it. This baffled me for weeks until I started researching the matrix number on the record itself and discovered it was a private pressing out of CT released by BJM in 1972

"Burnt Suite were from Canton, Connecticut and consisted of William Florian, Woody Andrews, and Jym Cifaldi. Released on the BJM label in 1972, Burnt Suite is a mix of soft country rock, featuring some ballads, and harder rock, with mild psych influences"

To me they were a garage band that reminded me of Velvet Underground, the album is noted in the Acid Archives

I sold the test pressing after I recorded for about $200 IIRC to a collector in Japan off eBay. The regular issue will run you that and more for a minty copy. It was also booted in the 90s

Thanks for the track list and will update the project file shortly. A steal @ $1 to say the least.
 
Many thanks to my Secret Santa (Sutton) for the wonderful gifts. Just what I needed, a tape eraser, some RTR leader and splice tape. I never dreamed that I would get one of the items on my list, let alone all of them. Thanks so much.

I still have no idea who my Santa was!!!! Love what I got... Just still don't know who got it for me.... Lmao... you guys take secret to a whole new level here !!!!!
 
I'm glad the items are what you wanted. I had no idea, but a couple of hard working elves did their homework and reported back to me. I hope you can use the tape supplies, and be careful with the tape eraser. A couple of people warned me that they can be very dangerous around computer hard drives, among other things. Merry Christmas..
