Cream - Wheels Of Fire
(1968, Atco) Monarch pressing with MR and Delta in the deadwax

thunderous. If I had to pick desert island records, this title would cover a lot of ground!

The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Jazz Goes To College
(1954, Columbia) MONO, 1st pressing red/gold label

listening with the Mono switch engaged on the MC 2205 amp.
I had this also but Chris now owns it. I still have the dual 7" stereo set of this though which is pretty cool. People claim the SQ of the 7" eps far surpass the quality of the big 33's

Very cool! 45 RPM sounds better to me, Ron. Most notably less pronounced surface noise and maybe a tad more dynamic on the low end, but the convenience of the 33RPM is so nice.......

Yep, flipping 7" disc is a PITA but a lot of the 7" stuff I have does sound very good. I have several cases of this stuff. I also have an old Decca File box that I just put early black label silver text Decca releases in that I dig. The Decca File case is worth a small fortune alone

If you want to record the set, your welcome to Doug, I can put it in the mail to you. LMK

It would be cool if ZZ Top reissued their first album as a dual 45rpm set. I love how my original sounds, quiet as hell and just so analogy!!!!
