It's not turned on, could just be static. That happened to me once, freaked me out until Joe told me how to correct it. A tiny bit of dishsoap rubbed on it and then completely wiped off (good time to clean them anyway LMAO) and back to normal. The buy price is ridiculous

The rule of thumb is take the high value of what the unit is worth, then add in any repair costs in the last year then add on top of that a night out for pizza and beer.
