No kidding that's a good deal. I sold my Pioneer SA-9500 II integrated amplifier, alone, for more than the total price of that system.

Total price is about what I paid for just that same reel to reel player, although it had been refurbished and has a guarantee and all that. Still, looks like a great deal for someone. And I'm sure it would be easy to pay that price and either make a good chunk of change or just make your money back and keep what ya want. I do kinda hope that whoever buys it keeps it together though, in that cabinet and everything, I think it looks like a thoughtfully setup system that would be a shame to pull apart.

To me, those look like the Pioneer Spec series JAR-101 rack mounts. Those are going for sometimes $300 each and there are two in that system, one for the tuner and the other for the integrated amplifier.

I have an NOS set of JAR-101s with mounting screws, still in the factory kraft paper. I stole mine for a very low price, but if I ever see more rack kits I would buy them.

Cheers, Jason. I was gonna hit up my brother- in- law to do the drive for me if it is still up for sale. At that pricepoint, I am not sure it is still looking for a new home.

Truth be told, I would keep the open reel and probably move the rest on to other folks.

The Pioneer SA-9500 II I had was such a nice integrated amplifier. I ran the tone controls flat and it had plenty of flexibility for different phono cartridge loadings. I powered a pair of Pioneer HPM-100 and Pioneer CS-66e speakers through it. I sold it for $450 more than a year ago.

Any word back from them Doug? Don't forget I'm in the area also. I would have jumped on it but wife would not understand - I'm cursed with never selling anything that I don't have multiples of...

No word back, but that doesn't surpirse me. Need to lurk on AK and see who ended up with it;-). I did just get a call from a gentleman looking to sell his NIB Pioneer RT 1020L and I am hoping to be the lucky boy who gets to take it home. Still has all original packaging it shipped with from the factory. We are supposed to meet up on Monday but I may try and get there tomorrow. Not sure what to offer him a this point as I would like to see the condition of the outer box and see if it truly is new as claimed.
