Soon you will be able to afford it...
Not likely, only 3 shifts last week and about to do my 2nd shift this week, they have too many people employed and are scattering out the hours, not happy about it because I get too relaxed. Would rather be working full time but this is all I have for now.

Ah....well that sucks....
Such is life, however I feel pretty darn good, wake up with a spring in my step most days. Have everything I need here and anything else is just a want. I have lots of listening to do with the new vinyl cartridge (AT440MLa) which will keep me occupied for a very long time.

" The AT440MLa has made a huge difference in sound, no inner groove distortion at all, crystal clear highs and deep warm lows. Couldn't be happier with it. "

I own one. It's a widely overlooked, sleeper cartridge. Amazing performance and a steal when you can score one on sale.

Broken beyond repair but highly affable
Not a record but I bought a Sony Trinitron KV-1947R (19" diagonal) for $10 and it's in great shape, a really nice addition that will make a difference in my AV setup. Where I prefer light and thin modern monitors for COMPUTERS, if I'm going to watch a TELEVISION, I want CRTs. You love vintage audio equipment, I also love vintage TVs.

PS Not bad and pretty nice sounding for a 1982 TV.

Here's a pic:

PS I spent $15 total for the TV and second line amp and the amp works GREAT!
