The K-Horns are coming ! The K-Horns are coming !!!!

Hell No !!!! You and Tim made sure of that !

When they showed up from Washington there was 4 wood screws holding them on. Awfully violent behind those doors. That wasn't gonna do it...

That one that is still sitting in my driveway had like 30 screws holding it on!

Takes a lot to hold em..

Kev, two screws and the tops come off the bass bins..

To improve air circulation and reduce the temperature of components nearby, I would mount the resistors further apart, above the board and further away from the white capacitor and insulation on the outside of the choke windings, which can melt or burn. (CORRECTION: Auto-transformer, not steel core choke.)
The resistors could get very hot in worst case conditions.
Sorry to sound like such a harsh critic.

Of course, at the power levels some people on this forum seem to prefer, keeping the crossover outboard (cooling fan optional) should be considered.

I don't think Kev goes there, or the resistors would have been treated differently..

Wow Lee... Your kicking some ass there !!!! Now I'm dragging ass... I just dont know what to do... It will be Sat night before I can get back to my work. My next step is spraying the horns. Then .... I think I have pretty much decided to raise the top of the horn box ! Then I think I'm going to order Veneer and do all the wood that ya can see... Mainly the front and top ! Trying to find a good place to get Veneer now... Hint ... Hint... Anybody ????

That would be correct !!!! They will be played loud at times... But I don't think they will go through what you and Tim put yours through !!!
