The TX-904 onkyo receiver is a decent piece. Had one in the bedroom and sold it for the same fiddy with remote to a friend. Replaced with the TX-906, a bit more power. I liked rolling through the FM presets at night. I think the 904 might have sounded better than the 906 sounds. At 60 a side it is plenty for a bedroom. Sounded nice with the Dynaco A25.

I don't have a Onkyo TT Steven, I see the list in the first post and there is no Onkyo TT

As far as the other stuff nakdoc, I'll ship anything as long as you pay what it costs

I got two Pioneer goodies today!

SG-300 and CT-F700

The cassette deck is about as described, lights out and both channels look like they are going into oscillation (or maybe there's a tone feature, I haven't looked on the back just yet) and the pause doesn't stay engaged. The drive looks pretty similar to other Pioneers with the auto CrO2 function but without the light I can't really tell by just looking.

All the lights came up on the EQ but I just got everything maybe an hour ago and I haven't been up long. I have to get a wheel trues on my Schwinn and then I'll come back and check more out.

It's very nice to have the owner's manual for the SG-300 and I'll find both the OM (owner's) and SM (service) for the 700 (if I don't already have them saved).

Years ago my RS-676 Technics cassette deck did something similar with both output meters oscillating. I used a contact cleaner on my switches and it cleared up the problem after a couple of sprays and toggling / rotating of the controls. Give that a shot and see if it helps - it may even fix your pause issue.

I have that same Technics and it does what you described. I think I have a CRC formula and I also have a can on Cramoline B-5.

Awesome Steven! That is a great little EQ, glad you could put it into use! I love the RS one I am using, been looking for a long time for one and scored one finally for $5 awhile back up the street w/ an Akai receiver. I still have the Audio Source one Jer is going to look at when I get it down to him and the Onkyo is in the garage collecting dust LOL. Too much equipment laying around
