Well, his brother in law passed away and left him his instruments and lots of sheet music. I told him that although it was a tragedy indeed, he has had a few himself of late and that his BIL would want him to take care of himself and give others the chance to enjoy what he had loved.

So Tom has placed the first of the items on eBay, a Sho-Bud pedal steel guitar...

If you are a Tapeheads member it might be of interest to visit the thread he posted on it and maybe you can talk to about what he wants to do...he'd be glad to hear from TH, and I suspect Phoenix members as well.

The TH thread is at http://www.tapeheads.net/showthread.php?t=34196 Tom, as I have posted elsewhere here can be reached by TH PM or dey51@hughes.net

He had some really nice guitars and an amp as well.

TESTING...one thing about the pics was that they all registered at around 3.1 kilobytes...thinking I should've opened then in TH and not just saved the thumbnails directly, they might have been too small.

And I take back what I posted last, photo viewer in vB is usually a biotchie in the first place, often requiring three tries to open (some after refresh, then it won't finish opening, then it does or I have to double click to open it on a separate page the go back. I'll keep trying.

She's in her late thirties now (1984, she was maybe six). That's from Close (To The Edit) by Art Of Noise. Same girl and accomplices appeared in Dragnet '88.

I forget which thread it is, but there was another post with an image attached not long ago that I could not open either.

Seemed ok after starting over and uploading my own. Strange how the "thumbnails" weren't there.

Needed to get some troubleshooting in here, Steven.. see if you can re -edit and add those back.. BUT.. tell me how you are doing it first.

Nav, that was a six year old at the time...find the video on You Tube.

Jer, I used manage attachments after saving them to my computer from his TH post.

I have a hell of a time posting here and on Yesfans.com, with some of the same results.

If you don't click just right vB isn't pleasured and spurns you?

I have trouble getting the post button to release (stays white, have to hit ESC and go through two or more instances of the box about the webpage has stopped responding (recover) or click the X until it turns blue again *like Pac-Man I guess. More than once I've had to refresh and start over and sometimes I get the three (one on YF) character message.

I just don't know WHY! vB 3.8.5 (TH) doesn't do this and while I've had similar problems with WordPress/Disqus in the past I was using 2000 or XP then and they are all long gone.

Does vB need Celebrity Rehab?

I can work around it with difficulty and then sometimes it just works.

Now I'll pre-empt your potential question and ask why/whom would have a vB specific exploit anyway? Or whatever. And BIKE FORUMS works.

Everyone wonders why I get tired and frazzled, on the homefront especially and I have to tell them I'm minding my business and trying to work on things but then everything breaks down at once and I need to fix them to do X, Y and Zed so it's no mystery...then I get accused of being whiny.

I think I ought to demand a female geek clone herself ASAP and send help. It's no wonder I sleep days and work nights again. Dammit, I'm always waiting for somebody who wanted something and I searched high and low for it to PAY. Sometimes I wonder. I can't give it away on Seventh Avenue.
