WTF?
Thanks to Joe and Lee for all the help in getting my dual WOPLs going. Bi-amped into a pair of Infinity Kappa 9s. In good company with an 1865 Steinway baby grand. Fred.

8 fin twins, God they're beautiful.....oh the speaks and the Piano too......do you play?

Now that's what I call beautiful music.

Thanks guys. It's my wife that plays. My talents are more towards the sciences than the arts.

Welcome aboard Fred! I am a huge fan of the 400s also, especially Full Comp builds!

Both full comp builds. They sound absolutely astounding with the Kappa 9s. Did have to disable waveform protection as the Kappas are pretty much like driving a short. Lee, all the helpful posts was important in not blowing my project up. You did it for me. Thanks!

Glad to see my pain was not in vain!!!! Very cool Fred.......amzing amps ain't they??

As the
Pig snickers in the background....

Man, here is another set 400s with the gain knobs. I like them better without them but they do indeed look nice

Fred, we gotta move your thread, to the WOPL building forum.....

Thanks Nav. Really enjoying the WOPL-Kappa combo. There is also something rewarding about taking a once beautiful old amp that's had years of abuse and restoring it to better than new. The WOPL on the right was dead and covered in nicotine stains. Smelled so bad I had to move it to the garage until cleaned up.

The twins almost look as good as the piano - and that's saying a lot. Why does that make me think of something else?

From now on they are officially the twins, Dorothy (Dot) and Charlotte (Char).
