This is how ya test RCA jacks, peel the ground tabs back on the male pin plug. Insert pin plug to jack, run to vertical position with jack on bottom, if jack falls off, there is a problem....this is a standard test Ed came up with when going local to bey "restored" PL gear. If it falls out it wasn't "restored", to his standards anyway...and there are probably not higher standards for a restore than Ed's.....well maybe Joe's.....but I'm bettin they're pretty damn close, and that's sayin something. Ed is getting closer to actually documenting WITH PICS AND POSTS a conversion of a 700 Ser I and 700B to fully comp using the existing sockets and backwall mess for those who have a series I 700 and would like to go with a Joe board and still be fully comp...
