what are you listening to?

I'll interrupt to say I really like Moby: Ambient, but I actually wouldn't call it strictly ambient as it is more beat driven than most ambient releases. It's considerably more laid back then stuff like Play, 18 or Everything's Wrong, which might be a good one to check out if you like 18 and Play. Not meaning to speak against Ambient as I really like it, maybe even better than the others mentioned, but I'd suggest Everything is Wrong is more similar to those other two than Ambient.

Thanks nobody. Jase , track 4 off "Play"--Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad ---has a killer bass track, I mean KILLER!!!! Shit MOVES when it's played!!

SLF, that's not just a Phase Linear, it's a White Oaked Phase Linear..

Wow! ...very cool to see that these Phase Linear upgrades are available for these cool old amps with so much history. I delivered a friend's PL 700 along with a Sansui tube receiver to a north end audio repair shop associated with Bob Carver a couple of years ago, and he happened to be at the shop that afternoon. He actually came out to my truck, picked up and carried the PL 700 amp into the shop!

After listening to it I can easily see how that could happen. Its hard to get the bottom bass note with my setup though.

With mine it's VERY in your face. Everytime Timdalf hears it here in the masters chair a big ol grin crosses his face as we try to focus our eyeballs ----

hard to do when they vibrate.....
