well, if the mistakes are posted along with everything else we all learn something if not, well that can skew the story and I've got some pretty big shoulders and a thick skin....

Yeah - I've been hanging here long enough to know. You're a good man Lee. Is that rhinoceros skin?

Yeah, sure, that'll do. Thanks Dennis. This amp had lesss noise than Russ's and it was quiet. At idle i can put my head in the mid horn ear first and there is nothing, guess I could put 2.2mv from the AP to the speaker wire and check that....

And while we're on the subject, why can't we hear DC offset, it doesn't oscillate?
I'm not a speaker guy but the offset is a pretty low voltage so there may not be much there to hear. I'd guess with a large dc component you'd get the drivers to squeal before they popped.

I'll try the AP directly to the speaker tomorrow. Always wanted to try that. The generator section will output 13 volts.....AND you can input up to 145 volts, now that's an analyzer....can you imagine 8 ohms at 145 volts.......

Is that 13 VRMS or VP-P? Not DC is it?

Lee; I snagged some private engraving time on our shop engraver. I am working on a rough draft. I made a sheet for you to potentially use for the time being. Tell me if you want them or not. I am thinking the last line should have said "modified by" THEN the model. but meh....too late now.

Anyway; a height, length, and title to use as a guide line would be what I'd like a consensus on. These are about 5" long, by 1"wide. I pulled those dims out of my %$#@. So if you want something smaller because you think maybe putting it on the back of the transformer is more desirable, then let me know.

I provided sample pics of various places one might apply the phenolic. I also have chrome/aluminum, so maybe if the front face plate is desired, it would look better than black. Anyway, mull it over and I will see If I can further be of help.

I like the badges, but I really like the 'see-through' idea…… ;)
