My Kitty-cats lived up to their nickname...'Cardiac Kats'..SDSU almost had them, but a fierce rally in the final 5 minutes gave UofA the edge :blob:!!!

Those pesky Badgers from Wisconsin or up next this afternoon, they are offense and my Kats are D-fense, D always wins!!!

I'm lovin' this years tourney more than the last few...anyone else think that some of these young men are way above and beyond what we have seen in the last few years?

Craig I think the pure EFFORT has been over-the-top man, can't believe how many close games there are. These kids have not given up down to the last second in most cases. The level of coaching has been phenomenal, the dedication to the game has been great and by and large the officiating has been to let the kids decide the game..Last night was one of the best nights of basketball in recent memory and the teams that played the hardest and hit big shots won the games and that's what it's all about, man what a great tournament...Craig, good luck to Arizona till they play that buzzsaw known as Sparty!!

You think that they would give AZ a break and put the spotlight back on Juarez.

I am surprised UCONN won with the crap officiating, especially the second half. UCONN is 15 minutes from my house, I see a lot of the guys and gals here locally, decent bunch of kids

One of the finest NCAA tournaments I've ever seen. The competitiveness, pure ridiculous effort, great officiating, great coaching and more last shot games than I've ever seen. Congratulations to UCONN!! They went out and took it!

I was somewhat surprised that Kentucky was favored as they were playing a bunch of 19 year olds starters. They played an amazing tournament and UCONN just did a bit better in the end. I must agree that many games were extremely competitive and were fun to watch. Isn't this UCONNs 10th title? One back from UCLA if that's correct.

Impressive indeed, considering that they were banned from post-season play last year because of academic standards. They had to work harder!

The womens' team is in their championship game now and they are no slouches either.

It was nice that UCONN won, now the women will probably win also. UCONN has always had good basketball teams
