Michele, I was thinking about this all this weekend. Maybe you have the meter clamp a little too tight on the back. If the needle contacts the outer plastic even slightly, it will stick

Me too WTB PL400 Vu meter

drummergrl - I too am looking for a Vu meter for a series 1 PL400 - if you find a cheap unit with 2 working meters let me know, if I find one, I will let you know - the non-working PL400s on eBay are going for about $150, I don't really want to hassle with parting one out - I was in the process of installing the LED upgrade kit and I tilted the unit back and the face plate with the meters slid off the top of the unit and hit the bench hard enough to damage one of the meters - dang it - a meter is the last part I need

Northwinds - good advice - I fixed a sticky meter years ago the same way
