WTB: Non functional PL400 VU meter enclosures

I need 4 non functional VU meter cases from the PL400 series amps. I DO NOT need the VU meters, only the meter enclosures as I am modifying a couple of 400 series amps to operate with LEDs but not the meters, so if anyone has some that they are no longer using due to damage, age, or whatever, please send me a PM .

Early or late meters?

I presume that probably the enclosures are only stripped .
In this case you have simply to paint using a spray bottle .
I strongly racommend to use acrylic paint .

Hi Lee, I did not realize that there were differences but I assume late as they need to be able to accommodate the improved LED upgrade from Joe and the current functional VU meters in both amps at present look the same.

Just the housing? How about the Phase Linear legend in the meter?

Just need the complete housing intact - the Phase Linear legend, meter level scale, etc , are not necessary.

The bare white housing and the clear acrylic lens?

Yes, and (if available) the long screws/hardware on each side of the housing to pressure fit the housing to the back of the faceplate would be nice. If not, just the bare white housing case and clear acrylic lens.

Doug, I have the hardware to go with em. I also have a bunch of 700 meters out of the Aerosmith amp stash. The 400's and 700 late meters were the same dimension. Let me do some checking and see if they will work for you.
